Last week was a very interesting week on Chad LB’s course with some incredible teachers including Terrace Martin, Adam Neely, Jesus Molina, Gilad Hekselman, Chris Potter, Christian McBride and Sands to name a few. But… today I got to improvise live for Marquis Hill. Ive been transcribing him over the last few weeks, so it’s a little like Xmas day ! What a gorgeous inspiring man:)
This week is for practising for my album launch. I’ve also been writing harp duets with my good friend Anna Dunwoodie in New Zealand and will finish the week in The RWCMD teaching Dorothy Ashby and her music.
Time stands still from my album was released worldwide to the DJs this week.. so all very exciting hearing it on the radio and seeing the album for pre order in Japan and across the world.
Spring has sprung so let’s get busy:)
