The last year has been a lot of fun and hard-work writing the new album. Last week we made it to the studio nr Newtown in mid Wales to record it with Chris Cracknell producing.
The usual team of Aidan Thorne on bass and Jon Reynolds on drums was joined by the incredible Mark O’Connor on percussion. We recently had Mark join us at Cheltenham Jazz for the first time. The concert was a blast and was watched by Radio 6 Dj and influencer Cerys Matthews, who kindly played us the following day on her show with the incredible feed back of being her “highlight of the festival.”
Jon, Aidan and I will be playing in Porto on July 23rd where we will be joined by Chip Wickham for the Matoshinos Em Jazz Festival.
With lots of exciting things in the pipeline, including a remix album and numerous collaborations..watch this space!
