Last week was a great week with a tour of residential homes, playing to the elderly with dementia, on behalf of Lost Chord. It is such an honour to share beautiful Christmas songs with smiling faces.
This week continues to be fun filled with a performance of Britten’s Ceremony of Carols in Barry Church with the children of Barry Boys School and a school concert on Friday in St Mellons. Of course, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a few trips to Le Manoir….Christmas in perfection!
There is so much to look forward to over the coming months; I have recently been included in a book on harpists which will be released with a photo exhibition in June. The Lyon and Healy Festival, where I will be giving a lecture and performing with my trio. The release of my second harp book, this time co written with the amazing Tony Robinson and finally the new cd which will be out in July, hopefully with a tour and launch party.
All exciting and all great fun! In the meantime, I hope everyone is having a great Christmas….
