I’m writing after an incredible journey this year. From being signed to Jazzman Records and releasing two albums, the year just got better and better. October saw the JazzFm awards and being nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year 2021.
In November I was invited to tour with Chip Wickham, performing in Manchester (with Matthew Halsall on the decks), Peggy Skylight’s, Nottingham and culminating with a standing ovation at Ronnie Scott’s, London. A moment I will cherish for life.
The following day I flew to Helsinki and played my album at WeJazz Festival. (please check out Instagram for videos and credits to the beautiful musicians.)
Next year will be touring Berlin and performing at Out There Festival with Rebecca Vasmant’s band, my own tour dates, (which I will post as confirmed) and the new album which will be out in May on Jazzman Records.
